unable to inStall packege and getting thiS error

E: Unable to fetch some archives, maybe run apt-get update or try with --fix-missing?

  1. Go and download it from here manually:

    https://www.skype.com/en/insider/

  2. First remove the older version and then install it from applications

    rm -rf ~/.Skype

  3. Try it , It will work:

    sudo apt-get update --fix-missing

    Or

    sudo apt-get upgrade --fix-missing
