If you are unable to stop the size of your Docker container from increasing, there may be a few additional steps you can take:

    1. Use the docker container top command to see which processes are using the most resources within the container. This can help you identify any processes that may be causing the size to increase.
    2. Use the docker container stats command to see real-time resource usage statistics for all running containers. This can help you identify any containers that may be using more resources than expected.
    3. Use the docker container logs command to view the logs for a container. This can help you identify any errors or issues that may be causing the size to increase.
    4. Use the df -h command on the host machine to check the available disk space.
    5. Use the docker system df command to see how much disk space is being used by Docker
    6. Use the docker system events command to see the events that are happening on your Docker daemon
    7. Check if you have any running containers that are not needed and stop or remove them.
    8. Check for any volumes that are not needed and remove them using docker volume rm <volume_name>
    9. Check for any networks that are not needed and remove them using docker network rm <network_name>
    10. If you are running a service like Elasticsearch, MongoDB, or Cassandra, you can check their data directory to see if they are consuming too much disk space.

If none of these steps resolve the issue, it may be worth investigating if there are any known bugs or issues with the specific image or container that you are using. It is also a good idea to check the Docker documentation and community forums for more information and solutions.
